Yes! Now another name is going to add up to the of self-driving car providers. Mobile games giant #DeNA has joined hands with Google & Uber in their robot taxi goal. Dena is soon going to launch its unmanned taxi service in the upcoming Olympic Games 2020 which are going to take place in Tokyo, news by Senior Vice President – Hiroshi Nakajima, at DeNA that they are soon going to launch an impressive unmanned taxi in Tokyo Olympics.

 

To make this dream come true DeNa recently joined a hand with ZMP (A Tokyo Robotics Company) which has been in the development of robot car parts, sensors & in-camera technologies for years. While the companies did not mention the details about what features the robot taxis would have, As per Taniguchi, taxis would likely be in the minivan class, larger and more luxurious.

 

While Google is far more ahead in this race because they are planning a pilot program, Nakajima said DeNA’s user experience for robot taxis wouldn’t be inferior to those of the search engine.
